A More Excellent Ministry

An important part of our ministry is intercessions and spiritual warfare, especially for others. Every week we develop a prayer agenda for our gatherings on Tuesday evening. We go by what Jesus said in Matthew 18:19:

  “Again  I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask,  it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.  For where two or three are gathered  together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

After we agree and pray, we post this agenda on our website so you can add to it or agree with us. We have seen every prayer answered, without exception.
After driving out the money changers and sellers of doves, Jesus also said in Matthew 21:12-13:

"Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.  And He said to them":
“It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’”

I hope that some of you will join with us in this ministry realizing that the most excellent ministry (the greatest of all) is intercessions like Jesus came to after His death and ascension as we see in Hebrews 8:6 and 7:25.

“Now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.”
“Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”

Seems the greatest ministry of all is not laying on of hands, casting out demons are even healing the sick, but it is intercession like Abraham for Sodom and Gomorrah, Moses for the Israelites in the wilderness and the prophets like Samuel, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel.
